DNAVisualytics ("we", "our", "us") operates the website and platform at dnavisualytics.online. We provide AI-powered biological analysis services including paternity testing, ancestry analysis, biological age estimation, and related features.

Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and optionally a profile picture when you register.

Photos you upload: facial or biological photos submitted for AI analysis. These are stored securely and used solely to generate your requested analysis.

Payment information: transaction IDs and amounts from PayPal. We never store full card numbers — payments are processed by PayPal.

Usage data: pages visited, clicks, session duration, device type, and approximate location (country-level via IP) to improve our platform.

Referral data: your referral code and credits earned through referrals.

• Service providers: We use Anthropic's Claude API to power AI analyses. Photos submitted for analysis are sent to Anthropic's API and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Payment processors: PayPal processes payments. We share only the information necessary to complete the transaction.
• Email providers: We use SMTP providers (Brevo, SendGrid, etc.) to deliver emails.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

Photos submitted to our platform may contain biometric data (facial features). We treat this data with heightened care:

• Photos are used only to perform the analysis you requested
• We do not build biometric databases or facial recognition systems
• Analysis results are stored in your account and accessible only to you
• You may delete your photos and results at any time from your account settings

We retain your account data while your account is active. Uploaded photos are retained for 12 months to allow you to access past results, then automatically deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance.

When you delete your account, we delete all personal data within 30 days, except data we are legally required to retain.

We use cookies and local storage for:

• Authentication: keeping you logged in (JWT token in localStorage)
• Analytics: session tracking for internal usage statistics (no third-party ad trackers)
• Preferences: storing UI preferences

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or other third-party advertising trackers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws:

• Access: request a copy of data we hold about you
• Correction: update inaccurate personal data
• Deletion: request deletion of your account and data

Our service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

DNAVisualytics operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., standard contractual clauses) when transferring data internationally.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
